Puri Lukisan Museum Ubud (Ubud Museum)

Puri Lukisan Museum is located about 200 meters to the west of  Puri Saren Ubud, separated by a creek ravine, up to a spacious plot of land with beautiful views. The situation is quiet and away from the crowds is the perfect place for those who want to see, and enjoy the art works of great artists such as; I Gusti Nyoman Lempad, Ida Bagus Nyana, Anak Agung Gede Sobrat, I Gusti Made Deblog, Rudolf Bonnet, Walter Spies , and so forth.

The museum was opened in 1956 by the Minister of Education and Culture, Mr. Moh.Yamin. This museum consists of three U-shaped main building, in the middle of the park museum, and a pool with a beautiful lotus flower. Building I is a permanent exhibition, for the wayang style paintings, the paintings of the work I Nyoman Lempad, and an explanation of Pitamaha organization. Building II is also a permanent exhibition of the work of painters who styled Young Artist Modern Balinese-style works of Style. Building III, this building is for temporary exhibitions. Museum which is managed by the Foundation Ratna Wartha, open every day from 08:00 to 16:00. And for tourists who want to visit Puri Lukisan, subject to admission of about $ 2 per person.
